Support from corporate sponsors is vital to the production of the Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival. Companies that assist the GCDF help to bring free programming to the streets and parks of Guelph, free workshops to public schools and cutting-edge contemporary dance performances to Guelph.
Over twelve short years, the GCDF has grown from 600 patrons attending in 1999, to over 5,000 in 2009. In 2010, the GCDF expects over 6,000 patrons to attend its dance events throughout the year.
The Festival is nationally recognized as a ground-breaking dance festival with an attentive and devoted audience.
