Support from corporate sponsors is vital to the production of the Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival. Companies that assist the GCDF help to bring free programming to the streets and parks of Guelph, to bring free workshops to public schools and to bring cutting-edge contemporary dance performances to Guelph.
Over eight short years, the GCDF has grown from 600 patrons attending in 1999, to over 7,000 in 2005. In 2007, the GCDF expects over 8,220 patrons to attend its dance events throughout the year.
